Multiple hospitals have denied treatment to a 40-pound anorexic actress because she is just too skinny.Rachel Farrokh, 37, of Southern California, is now asking for the public’s help to get well.In a video (see below), she talks about her struggle with anorexia. “I need your help. I’m suffering from an eating disorder. It’s a very severe kind of anorexia,” the woman says. Farrokh’s husband, Rod Edmondson, has been forced to quit his job to care for his wife, whose condition has deteriorated as of late. Despite her ill-health, hospitals have refused to treat the woman because her “dangerous” weight makes her a “liability,” Daily Mail reports. “I’ve been suffering from this for quite a while now. I’m five-[foot]-seven, 40- something pounds and no hospitals will even take me at this point,” Farrokh continued. ”There’s one hospital across the country that can help, and my chances are very slim. We need your help.” She added that because of her condition, neither she nor Rod can work outside the home. “Rod is now my 24-hour caregiver.
